Frank worked as the Sports Editor of the Corning Leader for 34 years with his specialty being coverage of local sports.  The Corning-Painted Post Sports Hall of Fame recognized Frank for his contributions to local sports and to the Hall of Fame by inducting him into the Hall in the Contributor category in 1980 and then again in 2007 with the Bob Box Directors Award.

Frank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mariyn, a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Patrick, and a granddaughter, Megan - all of Columbia, MD.
